WEFTA 2020 and corona virus

The WEFTA 2020 organizing committee has held today an extra skype meeting to discuss the impact of the corona virus crisis on the scientific WEFTA SSEAFOOD event scheduled in October 2020.
It is observed that many events are cancelled already in the coming three months and that many scientific projects meetings are postponed to the autumn of 2020. Further it is uncertain when the ‘lock-down’ in the world will be over.
Not later than 15th April the WEFTA organizing committee will decide to postpone the 50th WEFTA meeting till 2021 or not. We keep you informed. Take care.
